With world-class machinery for single-step yarn making, shuttleless looms, dipping machines and in-house built direct cabler for twisting SRF is a pioneer in manufacturing nylon 6 tyrecord and polyester yarn and tyrecord in all kinds of automotive tyres.SRF supplies tyrecord fabrics to all major tyre companies in India and abroad. The company boasts of having state-of-the-art technology from the world famous Toray Industries for manufacturing High Modulous Low Shrinkage (HMLS) polyester yarn for tyrecord fabric.

The company has four tyrecord fabric plants in India, one in UAE and one in Thailand. The Indian plants are located at Manali (Tamil Nadu), Malanpur (Madhya Pradesh), Gummidipoondi (Tamil Nadu) and Viralimali (Tamil Nadu).

Two of SRF plants have fully integrated facility from polymerisation to dipped fabric to greige fabric. In fact, SRF is the only Indian tyre cord company having dipping facility. All plants are ISO certified and most conform to ISO 14000 and ISO 18000.

The Technical Textiles Business has a Research & Development Center located in Manali (Tamil Nadu) with a pilot facility for new product and process development. R&D Center has the capability to take up joint development projects with customers.
