Overview
SRF is one of the largest manufacturers of a spectrum of standard and specialty Bi-axially Oriented Polyethylene Terephthalate (BOPET) and Bi-axially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films in the world. These products are manufactured through economically-sound processes that minimize negative environmental impact while conserving energy and natural resources. From the installation of ultra-modern machinery to the enablement of a number of smart initiatives like fully automated roll conveying, RFID embedded finished-good stocks and barcode enabled stores and spare management system, our facilities around the world also envelop various energy-conserving methods that reduce the overall carbon footprint of our plants.
Manufacturing Capabilities
Kashipur
(India)
Located in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, the first SRF Packaging Films plant was established in 1995. The plant features SRF’s first 3.2-meter-wide BOPET production with a capability of producing thick and thin BOPET films in the range of 8-190 microns. The total production capacity of the plant is 9,000 Tons per annum with BOPET film line from Cellier Group S A (France) and Metallization from General Vacuum Equipment Ltd.

Indore SEZ

SRF’s Packaging Films plant in Indore, Madhya Pradesh was established in 2004 and is supported by a resin plant, making it fully backward integrated, thereby leading to better efficiencies. Packaging Films Business successfully embarked upon its journey of capacity expansion by adding 8.5-meter and 8.7-meter-wide BOPET lines at the SEZ plant in Indore. With technology from Germany and Italy, the plant has a total BOPET Films production capacity of 1,58,200 Tons per annum.

Indore DTA
(India)
SRF Packaging Films Plant at Indore (DTA), Madhya Pradesh represents our diversified spread of film solutions to become a one-stop-shop. The state-of-the-art facility houses 8.7-meter-wide BOPET and BOPP film lines. It is also supplemented by three vacuum metallization plants, AlOx coating and special coating machines.

Rayong
(Thailand)
Established in 2013, the SRF Packaging Films Business plant in Rayong, Thailand, is the first overseas plant of SRF. The state-of-the-art BOPET facility has two film lines – one 8.7 meter and another 10.6 meters that can produce films in the range of 8-125 microns. It is supplemented by two 2.85-meter vacuum – metallization plants. Moreover, the support of a resin plant makes it fully backward integrated leading to better efficiencies.
In addition, a 10.4-meter BOPP film line from Bruckner Group GmbH (Germany), capable of producing 46,000 TPA and an additional metallization plant is currently under commissioning at this facility.

Durban
(South Africa)
SRF diversified its portfolio and set up its first BOPP facility at Durban, South Africa in 2013. SRF has installed the latest 5-layer co-extrusion technology for efficient BOPP film production. The line is capable of film production between 10 and 80 microns suitable for a wide range of end applications. It is complimented by a 2.85-meter vacuum metallization plant.

Jaszfenyszaru
(Hungary)
The first Packaging Films Business plant in Europe was commissioned in 2020. This state-of-the-art facility at Jaszfenyszaru, Hungary houses an ultra-modern 10.4m wide BOPET film line capable of producing 40,000 MT/annum.
